God Underneath

Beneath the restless activity of man-his striving, his building, his loving and his failing-there beats a deeper rhythm, the pulse of the Divine. Though we often act as though we are the architects of destiny, it is God who lays the foundation beneath our every step. Like the hidden roots that uphold the grandeur of the tree, He is the unseen cause behind every noble thought, every moment of grace, and even the silent yearning in our hearts. Man may forget God, but God never forgets man-for He is not merely above us, but within us, sustaining our very being with an eternal, unwavering love. God is underneath.
